Wonderful, Terrible Stories
I have long been drawn to photograph windows. They are like an art medium. They offer a composition every time we look through them. In many ways they are invisible, being more a utility than an object.
I imagine those old windows looking back at us as we gaze through them. I sometimes wonder what stories they could tell about the people who've, over the years, used their facility to frame a narrow reality in their world. They are like an old abandoned house whose walls, if they could talk, would tell us wonderful, terrible stories.
