Photography is also about composition. Cropping is an integral part of the process of composing. As I walked to my car this morning this decoration which adorns our old garage caught my eye. There were several compositions possible in all that I saw but today I just snapped these little metal stars at the top of a rusty baker's rack leaning against the brick wall of our ancient old garage.
I shot these stars on the fly,taking only a picture of the "thing" I admired. I couldn't find the appeal in it when I reviewed the shot until I found the "crop" which made the composition.
